Papilonews.com gathers that fans of Heartland FC of Owerri have issued a warning to propreitor of FC Ifeanyi Ubah Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah to respect himself if he dares to come to watch the Week 28 Oriental derby between his club and Heartland FC on Saturday at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri.
It may be recalled that in the reverse fixture early in the season, after an altercation between Heartland goalkeeper Ebele Obi and the centre referee, Dr. Ubah walked into the pitch and landed a blow on Obi, and his aides proceeded to deal the elder brother of Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi a few more blows as he fled for his dear life.
Speaking on grounds of anonymity a fan of the Owerri side said that inasmuch as Dr. Ubah is free to come and enjoy the game at the home of the relegation threatened side, he will be a watched man as every step he takes and every move he makes will be monitored.
“WHile he is welcomed to come and enjoy the game, he should be told to respect himself because we are well aware of what happened to our players at the Gabros Stadium Nnewi in the reverse fixture and if he as much as acts in any way suspicious, either to incite referees or anything unbecoming, he will not like what he will get. In his own best interest, he should either forget the game or come and watch the game but respect himself inorder not to bring out the worst in us.”
