Nigerian international Chukwuma Bentley Akabueze’s scored a stunner to level scores for his Norwegian club Odd Grenland Ballklubb but two quick goals in time added on saw hosts Molde run away with all three points after the scoreline ended 4-2.
A goal in each half from Björn Bergmann Sigurðarson gave the hosts a two goal lead before Sigurd Haugen pulled one back for the visitors in 72nd minute. Then the visitors were presented with a free kick on the edge of the hosts 18 yard box and 26 shirted Bentley curled a wicked left footer into the net past the outstretched hands of the Molde keeper to tie scores at 2-2.
Bentley started the game on the right side of ODD’s attack and his equaliser looked to have secured a point for the 2nd placed team but the capitulated at the back in time added on, conceding twice to leave the Aker Stadion empty handed.
Bentley has been in inspired form for ODD this season, scoring 6 times so far in the Eliteserien league and 11 goals in all competitions.
