Red hot Nigerian striker Kelechi Osunwa scored his 32nd and 33rd goals of the current Sudani Premier League season for his Sudanese club Al Ahly Shendi last Sunday when they faced off with Merreikh El- Fasher and is already hungry for more.
“I thank God for his grace without which I would never have been a professional footballer talkless of being able to score the number of goals I’ve scored this season and in my career so far,” the former Dolphins of Port Harcourt hitman revealed to papilonews.com
” As a striker, I must always want more goals, and with five matches till the end of the season I believe I can still hit many more goals. It’s not by labour but by God’s favour,” he said.
Osunwa’s brace last Sunday was enough to give Al Ahly Shendi a 2-1 away win over Merreikh El- Fasher at the El Fasher Stadium to help the club maintain her 4th position on the Sudani Premier League table
