Ahead of the crucial double-header against African champions, Cameroon, members of the Super Eagles of Nigeria have lend their support to ailing goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme.

It could be recalled that Ikeme was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and since then he has been out of action both for club and country.

Standing in solidarity with Carl, members of the Super Eagles appeared in T-shirts with the inscription, “Stay Strong Carl”.

Speaking to news men about their support for the goalie, coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr said: “We put on this T-shirt to show our solidarity with our team mate who is sick and we want to tell him that we are with him, he should be strong because all the team is playing for him.”
