Nigeria youngster and winner of the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup with the Golden Eaglets, Chukwudi Agor has finally been issued a travel visa to Spain after a first application was denied by the Spanish embassy, forcing the club to protest and later issue the player fresh invitation papers.

According to an official of the Agor’s football academy, the lad’s travel papers are now ready and  he is set to fly to  Spain  to start his trials at Extremadura.

“Yes, Agor has been given visa to proceed to Spain.He will travel out this weekend and we wish him the best during the trials”, said CEO of the academy, Emeka Amajiriaku.

Agor, a midfielder, was part of the Flying Eagles squad that failed to qualify for the 2017 CAF U20 AFCON as well as the FIFA U20 World Cup finals following a 4-3 defeat in the return leg match of the final playoff to Sudan in Lagos.

www.gathered that the trials will last for three weeks and success at the look-in will lead to the player being handed a contract by the Spanish lower league side.
