Much sought after left footed striker Michael Olaha scored one goal and created another for Vietnamese League 1 club Song Lam Nghe An in their 2-0 victory over visiting Sai Gon played at the Sân vận động Vinh Stadium last Sunday.
Olaha, who is enjoying a season long loan spell from Nigerian Premier League club Abia Warriors was adjudged the Man of the Match after his heroics secured all three points for his side. he created the opener which was converted by Trần Phi Sơn in the 14th minute and sealed the victory in the third minute of time added on when he stepped up to plant a penalty kick beyond the opponents goalkeeper.
Olaha’s loan stint in Vietnam ends this November and even though he is being played out of position as a supporting striker instead of his usual centre forward role, he has scored five goals in all competitions for his current employers.
He is already attracting attentin from clubs across the world according to his intermediary Barrister Johnny Precious Ogbah but the preference is for a ove to Europe.
