Akwa United Togolese import, Dadzie Kodjovi has expressed his desire to clinch the first trophy of his career in Nigeria with Alwa United at this year’s Aiteo Federation cup final. The lanky defense ace spoke to www.papilonews.com after his side landed in Lagos for the Aiteo Federation Cup final against Niger Tornadoes of Minna.
“I wish to win the cup tomorrow with my team mates. We have worked hard for this and are ready to prove it on the pitch. This will be my first trophy as a foreign player and I will not like it to pass me by,” said Dadzie.
He has been instrumental to the Promise Keepers’ push to the final by way of scoring two crucial goals in the build up to the final and has also maintained his starting shirt from left back.
Dazie joined Akwa United from mid-season of the 2015-16 season form Togolese side, Gomido de Kpalime.
The Abdu Maikaba led side missed out of a continental spot from the league by finishing 4th on the log, but Dadzie thinks they deserve to be on the continent next season and the only option is to win the Aieto Federation Cup.
