In form Michael Olaha continued his hot scoring streak when he poached his fifth goal in six matches for his temporary employers Song Lam Nghe An of Vietnam in their 3-2 home loss to Hai Phong FC last Friday.
Despite playing in a slightly different second striker role from his usual central striking position since he moved to Vietnam in January, Olaha’s all action style and powerful left foot has endeared him to the management and fans of the Vietnamese club and he has also added goals to his gae despite having to do a lot more defending now that he is used to due to his new role.
Against Hai Phong FC, his 22nd minute goal tied scores at 1-1 three minutes after the visitors had shot into the lead. Song Lam took the lead in the 30th minute through Que Ngoc Hai and held on to the lead till they were undone by two second half goals that gave the visitors the lead.
SOng Lam Nghe An are in the finals of the Vietnamese FA Cup and the will count on the scoring boots of the dark skinned striker to lead them to victory before his season long loan deal ends in November.
