In a chat with www.papilonews.com, Mr. Oke Eze noted that it is a top priority of the company to give back to the society. He said: “We think it is always important to support our country, Nigeria. And considering the fact that we have access to foreign investors who have interest in supporting charity in Nigeria, our company Canola Oil thought it wise to participate because what we preach is health and wellbeing. So in order for us to prove that, we supported this programme and of course the Match-4-IDPs to make sure we influence the fund raising to help the internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Speaking further, Mr Eze highlighted the other programmes that Canola Oil is involved in as regards to helping the IDPs. Hear him: “We are also involved in this programme to set up a food bank for the IDPs. Omni Canola Oil is leading the campaign for that and we have just started off with a worthy awareness by way of supporting this novelty match. It is also a way of integrating the youths to teach them about healthy living, eating healthy and engaging in sporting activities.”
On the idea of making sure such programme stretches through out the nation, Mr. Eze noted that Omni Conola is working towards making sure that the impact of health awareness as it relates to raising funds and supporting indigent communities is always make the top of their priorities.
