Papilo News – Japanese players have been hailed for leaving their dressing room absolutely spotless at the Khalifa International Stadium after beating Germany in their 2022 World Cup opening game.
Pictures shared on social media showed the floors swept, litter sorted into neat piles and even windows left open for ventilation in the Japan locker room which is adorable.
In another remarkable gesture, the Japanese players and staff also left Origami swans and a thank you note in Japanese and Arabic to their host.
Qatar are the hosting nation for the 2022 World Cup and this shows that Japanese players were impressed with their hospitality.
Going into their game against Germany, the Europeans were clearly tipped to win and they even took their lead before Japan came back in the second half to win.

Japan will now hope to continue with their impressive start at the World Cup when they face Costa Rica in their second group game on Sunday, 27 November.
Costa Rica on the other hand suffered an embarrassing defeat in their first game losing 7-0 against Spain.
